Need help with card choice

I have a average (or below average 🙁 ) system, and i want to upgrade with a card around 60-70 euros. My current specs are:

Soltek SL-85SID Motherboard
Cel 2.7Ghz Northwood
512 MB SD-RAM PC133
80Gig Diamodmax9 7200rpm
Ari rage 32MB vivo (From an older pc, used for the vivo mostly)
Teac DVD-RW
DELUXE 420W power supply
Kiss Satdem DVB card.

Its pretty offshore from a gamers rig, but i cant afford more than a vga card so i could run some games like NFS Most Wanted, or maybe even FEAR in not too fancy resolutions.

The most i can afford is one of these two cards:

Gainward GF6200 Pro/1480 256MB DDR2 TV,DVI
or a
Ati Radeon 9550 256MB DDRAM Dual AGPx8 Vo+DVI - R Club-3D

What should i choose and will it do the job?

I would think the 6200 would outperform the 9550, but I've never really seen their performance side by side.

Yep, don't bother with either of those cards, get a used 9700 PRO or 9800 PRO on ebay.

Either will perform 2x better than a 6200 or 9550 in NFS or FEAR...

Im kinda affraid of the 9800PRO, well generally the "used" card moment.
A few weeks ago i got a 9800PRO Atlantis 128MB card from a guy to test and buy it.
Plugged it in and NFS MW was runnig like a charm on 800X600 with max details. Ran for 10 min. or so and started laggin, so i rediced the res downto 640X480 again with max details, and that gave me another 15 min.
I restarted the pc, and whoila! instant dead pc.
I opened the case and i couldnt even touch the card itself, notalone the cooler. I had to wait for about 45min for it to cool off and the pc came online.
This card was not OC'ed at all and gave out heat like a camp fire!!

I'd rather save up 30 and get a 6600/6600GT/X700. Those perform much better and are up to date.
