Need Help With CPU

Which processor should I go with because I am debating wether I should get the Intel i7 4790k or the Intel Xeon E3-1230 V3. I've been told that the Xenon has the same performance as the i7 but without overclocking ability and no integrated graphics.

I dont plan on overclocking and I dont feel like I need the integrated graphics as I will be buying the GTX 970 SC ACX.

Are you really set on a hyper-threaded CPU? If you don't do intense multitasking or video editing, an i5 is all you need. If you don't want to overclock but you need hyper-threading, check this Xeon out. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117316

If you don't overclock, I would go with the xeon and save the money.

The Xeon is a great CPU if you are not OCing. It's a locked i7 for the price of an i5.

Yeah I think I will go with the Xenon.
