Hi, I was deciding on a graphics card. I came down to two: MSI R9 270X 2GB & Sapphire R9 270X 4GB (prices fairly same to each other).
I took a look at their specs and saw that the MSI comes with a 1030Mghz core clock and the Sapphire one comes with a 1020Mghz core clock. The MSI one can be easily boosted to 1120mghz with MSI gaming app, while Sapphire one can be boosted to 1070mghz OC'D. I also see that the Sapphire's stream processor is 1024 while MSI's is 1280. So which is better, the clock speeds or video memory of graphics card for recording/gaming/FPS wise? My CPU is FX 8350 4Ghz 8 Core. RAM is 8Gb (2x4gb) 1866Mghz.

If your display is 1080p or less, there is no real benefit to getting a 4GB card of that class over the 2GB version. Go with the one that has the best core clock speed.
Added VRAM doesn't improve frame rates. it is solely used for greater texture depth, anti-aliasing, depth of field, etc. at higher resolutions.

So a 4GB card will only benefit if I have resolutions higher then 1080P? I am only on a single 1080P monitor atm. however if I do happen to want higher resolutions in the future (1440P or 4K w/ multiple monitors) I can purchase another MSI 270X 2GB and Crossfire it with my current one right? And or just get another better GPU? <- I'll opt in for that, so purchasing the MSI 270X now :)

Also while on this fact, the graphics card comes with a DVI to D-SUB (VGA) converter, because the card does not have a vga port. My monitor only has a DVI-D & VGA port and I only have a VGA cable. So I was planning on not buying a DVI-D cable and using the converter to convert DVI to VGA to my monitor, doing this; will it degrade the resolutions (bump it down below 1920x1080) and or bump the refresh rate down from 60hz?
