Need help with decision on Pentium Processors or Intel Core i3

which is better Intel Core i3 processor or a pentium processor. Have the chance to get a good deal on the Intel Corei3 with:

2.2GHz 2nd generation Intel Core i3-2328M with 3MB cache

Memory: 4GB of DDR3 memory

Hard Drive: 500GB 5400RPM

Optical Drive: DVD Super Multi DL burner

Display/Monitor: 15.6" HD anti-glare LED display

Webcam: Yes

Depends what Pentium your looking at.
But if its around the same specs I would go with the i3 architecture is better.
