So I work in the IT field, but have never actually built a gaming PC before and my hardware knowledge is limited as I don't work it. I have been looking on various websites and even contemplated on just buying a pre-built from Cyberpower because i'm getting frustrated trying to figure out what would be a good build. I found a website for example that automatically builds a pc for you based on your budget. Build found HERE. I also found a couple other websites that list computer builds, but i'm not sure if they are legit or not.

Links here: http://www.build-gaming-computers.com/
and here: http://elitegamingcomputers.com/gaming-computers/

Can anyone recommend a good resource or even a good build for a budget of about $1000? Technically, I could go up to $1500, but not sure I want to commit the money to the project on a first build as i'm wary of mucking it up.

Thanks in Advance!

This is the PC I just build a few weeks ago and is running amazingly.

It's about $200 over your budget, so you could downgrade the RAM, ditch the SSD and maybe downgrade the GPU if you'd like. Just a solid starting point. I can edit it for you if you want.

This is pretty helpful. Just out of curiosity is everything compatible with each other or will I need to do further research while picking stuff from the Tier's?

Everything will be compatible except AMD processors with intel mobos and vice versa. I would be careful about not having enough power for your build. You can make an amazing PC with just a 1000 at this time.

(sorry for the long wait for the reply, ive not been on Tom's for a while)
