If you buy the ASRock H170 Gaming Hyper K4, then you can overclock the CPU. Google it if It's available somewhere near you or online.

Says he'll use it for light gaming.

I'm assuming It's the EVGA 600B, because there aren't many other models. Therefor, this article has to be forwarded as ''EVGA makes good products'' is not exactly in place for all of their products:
http://www.overclock.net/t/1500086/why-you-should-not-buy-an-evga-400-600-and-500b-600b

EVGA doesn't make power supplies, they use OEM's, like Seasonic and Super Flower. However the EVGA 600B is HEC made. Officially, a low quality power supply. However since it won't be pushed much with a GTX 950, the dangers will be lessened.

I'd never buy a Haswell build today, when the potential is ''sky-high'' with Skylake. DDR4 RAM OC boosting, plus Non-K CPU overclocking. You can run an i5-6400 past 4.0 Ghz, and it costs as much as an i5-4460, it will beat it so easily.

It runs great, until it doesn't. And the doesn't becomes a big word especially with an R9 290. Out of 1000 EVGA 500w users who power an R9 290, 200-300 will probably be fine for the time being. I think the article I provided shows more than enough information to rethink your thought about ''EVGA is 100% good any of their power supplies''. A lot of their W1/B1 power supplies fail left and right.

Some people don't have money. Tight budgets ..... So they try their best to get what they can . I ran the 290 on the power supply for a little over a year and it's still going . Can't go wrong with evga products . Story straight it should run the 950

The budget argument is not my point though. A product is not recommended or good if it has such a chance to fail when It's under heavy load. Power supply's are the last thing that should be cheaped out in a build. You can afford an R9 290 graphics card, but not a better power supply than an EVGA 500w makes it suprising. The first thing I said is that a GTX 950 will atleast not make it a pain for the PSU as it won't put the EVGA 600B under heavy load.

You have to be aware of this when trying to help people on this forum, just saying. If there isn't 100% truth in your words, then I'm going to point that out. How can you say ''Can't go wrong with EVGA products'' if the article shows you horribly can? Strange one.

I agree not to cheap out on a power supply . I'm always on tight budget for components. That's why I got a R9 290 for $110 bucks and slapped it with the 500B . I've never had an issue with EVGA . But if the power supply does die it's not going to take away components like a chineese cheap one .

I already posted my prove above that one
