So Im currently upgrading a PC piece by piece, and I want to purchase a GTX 1050 ti, however from brand to bran I'm seeing some that are 215mm width, and some that are 145 mm width, i was just wondering whether 2015 will fit my board? It is an old, crappy board, its a Gigabyte GA-78lmt-s2p AM3+. That is the next thing im going to upgrade dont worry 😀 But I'd like to know if i can fit the 215mm with that board, on CPU-Z it says the link width for my board is 16x, i dont know if this helps. Thanks in advance !!

That depends on your case not the mobo. Pcie x16 is the same size everywhere as pcie x16 and that's the only relevant part for a mobo. The dimensions can be rather useless beside length because of standardization. Height only has 2 options, low profile or full height. Most of them are dual slot which would be the width but the single slot models I see have a dual slot cooler so would still require the same.
