I just updated my Cyberlink video editing software, and it has become unusable. Spending 30 minutes to move text boxes on a title page is not productive!

Support staff says I need to update the graphics driver. I went on the Dell website, did "auto detect," ran it but it failed.

I went in myself and discovered the existing driver was AMD Radeon HD 8490-- but when I went to the website to download that particular one, there was NO LISTING for Windows 10. The only Windows systems listed were XP, Vista and 8.

PLEASE HELP!!!

Thanks very much for your help!

Thx. "existing driver was AMD Radeon HD 8490-- but when I went to the website to download that particular one, there was NO LISTING for Windows 10. The only Windows systems listed were XP, Vista and 8..."
yes support for hd 8490 no longer exists they have most likely dropped it the card is from 2013

you can try this method in windows search box on your pc

type device manager

go into device manager

look for display adapters and open it

right click AMD Radeon HD 8490

choose update driver

click
search automatic drivers

windows will try to find a compatible driver

otherwise you will have to upgrade your graphics card

Ok. It shows that the 8490 is there and updated, and also "there may be better drivers..." i went further and it took me to windows update...Everything is up to date.

How do I" get the better driver" or update the graphics card?" Thanks very much!
