[SOLVED] Need help with hdmi 2.0a/b monitor

Hello,
I would like to find monitor that supports 4k60fps w/ HDR, because everywhere is written only hdmi 2.0, nothing more. Even in the specs of the official website for these monitors.
Does anybody know if there is any max. 700€ monitor that supports this?

Do you need to use HDMI rather than displayport? What GPU do you have?

I'd focus on looking at the specs of the monitor itself to see if it supports 4K/60Hz 10bpc, rather than the HDMI version it has. If the monitor says it supports that, at least one of the connectors is guaranteed to support it.

Here are some lists of 4K 10 bpc monitors in the US, can see what's available at a decent price in your country.

Yup, I wrote it wrong. It is written that it has 10bit, 4K 60hz, but I dont know, if its possible to hold 60fps with HDR on at 4K resolution, because basic hdmi 2.0 standard supports only 4K at 60fps withou HDR on.
Thats why I was asking this.
So you tell me, if its written 10bit, HDR, 4K 60hz, it should be able to output HDR at 4K/60fps ?

HDMI 2.0 supports 4K 60 Hz 10 bpc color only by using YCbCr 4:2:2 chroma subsampling. Any TVs that claim to support 4K 60 Hz 10 bpc over HDMI are using subsampling to do so. With full RGB color, the maximum is 4K 50 Hz with 10 bpc color.

OK, so display connectors aren't specified in FPS, they're specified in Hz (refresh rate). So yes, if it says it supports 60Hz it 'supports' 60 fps. But as said above, if your sending 4k/60Hz 10 bpc over HDMI you're using chroma subsampling. Unless we're talking about HDMI 2.1, but I don't think there are any HDMI 2.1 products out yet.

Why can't you just use displayport?
