need help with laptops RAM compatibility....

Hi there,I'm looking into upgrading my mom's laptop ram.And I don't know is this DDR3 or DDR3L SO DIMM,and what is the difference?and are there two ram dimms on laptop?(that white thing- is that second ram slot?)
In the links are ram pic,ram dimm on laptop and laptops model name.
I can't find it on toshiba site.So I'm pretty much clueless. Any help would be much appreciated.

It needs DDR3L - this type of DDR3 uses less power.

There are two RAM slots and they lie on top of the other, if I'm not mistaken.
