I had windows 7 on my gaming pc before and i had no problems at all but a couple of days ago i decide to change to windows 10 so i changed it and it all looked and seems fine until today...I started my pc up and i got two error messages...

The first message tells me this ''This driver can't release to failure'' and then there is the second error message that says ''sivinit has stopped working'' and then that progream stop working and shut downs and i dont even know whats that program is , i've never had these messages etc etc until i changed to Windows 10....

My motherboard is : Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 (AMD chipset)

Hopefully there is somebody that can help me out :)

Sorry if there is any misspellings (My english is not that great!!)

If you go into device manager do any of the objects in the list have a yellow triangle next to them? You need to update drivers of some kind, Quite possibly the chip set, video card and maybe more. They are currently trying to use the old Windows 7 drivers which is most probably causing the conflict.

I went into device manager and there was nothing that had a yellow triangle , apparently it is updated already but i still get that error thing , If i remove windows 7 completly will that work or how should i remove those windows 7 drivers somehow?

This might sound crazy, bc I have the same MOBO, running an AMD FX- 6300. WIN 10 Pro 64 bit...when running my NVIDIA card GEFORCE GT-710, SIV worked. When I went back to my AMD Radeon HD 5670 (which with less memory, seems to outperform the NVIDIA in most cases), and loaded the Catalyst suite, SIV stopped loading / working / adjusting fan speed.

I tried uninstalling it, rollback etc...about to put the nvidia back in to see what happens. If SIV works when I do, I'll post to confirm the results. I've yet to see anything out there that links the two so far....
