Hi everyone,

Today I have installed a new CPU Ryzen 5 3600. My MOBO is GA-AB350M-DS3H V2. Previously I had the Ryzen 3 2200G
As far as I know my MOBO is okay with the new Ryzen 3000 series. I have also update my bios to the latest version which is F50 according to this:
https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-AB350M-DS3H-V2-rev-11/support#support-dl-bios

However, my system does not boot to windows. I get the Gigabyte Logo, if I am quick I can get into BIOS ant do everything in BIOS without any issues. After saving and exiting and/or turning off the PC manually I get into system repair of windows if I click restart I get into the screen with Gigabyte logo again and nothing happens. I have tries CMOS flash, Load System optimised defaults, Enabled XMP profile and it is still the same, currently reseting windows to defaultg settings.

Can someone please help me, I just can't get my head around what is wrong :/

Thank you

what is going on i believe is that when you loaded the optimized settings in bios you reset your boot order which can cause the PC not to get into windows. you may want to get into BIOS and go to the boot menu or boot order. whatever drive had win10 on it place that ion the first spot so that the PC boots from that before it has a chance to get stuck on something that it cannot boot from

After reseting the Windows I did managed to get into Widnows but when I restarted I got the Gigabyte logo again but this time I got the loading circle which just keeps spining below the gygabyte logo and nothing happens.

I tried changing the order but I got the reboot and select proper boot device so I got the order right.

I seriously don't know what is wrong.

Did you try formating your drive and do a fresh install of windows?

Tried without the XMP.
CPU checked for bent pins as well everything seems fine.
About 38-42 sometime 50 I just noticed that in BIOS my cou frecuency is always at max it does not jump up or down like ti does not change is that normal?

Also if I turnt off manually and turn it back on I get to the system repair thing again..

I just put back my 2200g cpu and in bio the cpu frequency is constantly changing. With 3600 in it stays at 3.6ghz all the time does not move. And everything works fine with 2200g so I doubt it is the SSD or RAM

Okay took me 5 hours but flashing the bios back to f40 version worked for me and it looks like the speeds are moving in the bios now and everything is fine I get into windows. So anyone using the F50 for the b350 board be aware. Thanks everyone.
