So I just finished building my pc today. Everything is working fine and I started up Minecraft and the screen goes all weird to where there are vertical lines just scrolling down the screen they are a bit grey but see through. But it's still a bit weird I would take a photo but you can't see them at all. When your on youtube or the desktop its fine but when you are playing games the lines start but for some reason Portal 2 did not get any. The graphics card is a Gainward GeForce GTX 570 Golden Sample and my screen is a HP LE1901w. I dunno if it has something to do with the screen as its a VGA ( I know I spent all my money on the pc I need to save up for screen ) but yeah anyone know what's up with it?? It works fine with Portal 2 and Flight simulator X and the lines show with MineCraft and you can kind of see it with BF3. I may it could be the screen. But I have nothing to test it on =/. I have also just noticed playing games it makes a very silent buzz so I do not know?

Kinda worried =/

Thanks,

Spendy

And I don't really know how to underclock

try running something in windowed mode and see what the voltages are, seems a bit low right now, might be because its idle.

use msi afterburner you can tweak the speed as well as the voltages.

Not by much. If its any help in minecraft I was getting 300 frames and every minute or so it would drop down to 50 and lag. Then when I was recording it ran about 200 FPS but when I stopped recording and exited out of mc and looked at the video it was blurry and really laggy =/

I think it may actually be the monitor. I changed the monitor to a DELL E190S (1280x1024@60Hz) and the lines barley show they are tiny and barley noticable. But I am buying this screen http://www.scan.co.uk/products/22-v...l-hd-dvi-vga-1920x1080-5ms-250cd-m-100000001 ( Viewsonic 22" VA2248-LED LED Monitor ) hopefully it will solve the problem

If it is not the monitor then I get a new screen out of it =P and I will probably go for another make like PNY or MSI

I hope it is not the graphics card because now I have to send back 2 things a HDD and a graphics card

In my opinion I think it is the graphics card but my parents are offering to buy a screen =P. But I noticed when recording with fraps when you start recording the lines kinda go away and its noticeable if your looking at something dark. But I still have till the 25th of Feb to return it. I also noticed when I record and stop it and look at the video it is pretty blurry and kinda grainy ( it is minecraft but still =P ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9phAMQ8N8Y&feature=youtu.be
