Question Need help with partitions

I was using an 8TB SSD with an external USB enclosure. I want to put it in my computer to use for files. I can't get it partitioned correctly. First I tried Windows disk management and I couldn't get it to do it. I have EaseUS, and it shows:

Disk 3 Basic MBR 7.28 TB

2TB partition
5.28TB unallocated

I want to make all of this one usable partition. I tried converting from MBR to GPT, but it got to 50% and gave an error that the disk is MBR.

What can I do to accomplish that?

should just be deleting existing partitions and then formatting the disk to a single blank drive.
include an image of what EaseUS shows.

Or you could use Gparted which some of use consider to be better software.
