Hello all, I had a question about options for a new gaming PC case,

I have animals in my house as well as a desk for the computer that sits low, about two inches off the ground in a cabinet. I am looking for a case that is dust and animal hair proof (I know resistant is a better word) but something that is much better than the stock cyberpower case that I have.

Here is my hardware list

Asus b360 m-a motherboard
EVGA 240 cooler
RTX 2070
Seasonic 650W

I was looking at the Corsairs 450d and 750d, wasn’t sure if those were good options, I am open to any suggestions of cases of course.

Thank you all for your time.

Anything with easily accessible removable air filters would be a good start. You could just try shopping around for some, though having them built on slideable trays is good.

Hard to actually search for cases that way though. Kind of just have to look for them.

Here is one where a lot of dust would get captured at the front. Comes with a top and rear filter: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/w766Mp/phanteks-eclipse-p350x-atx-mid-tower-case-ph-ec350ptg_dbk

More traditional filters: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod...-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

Here is essentially my case, lacks a rear filter, but...

450D doesn't appear to have any filters, and they don't advertise it. There might be a fine mesh on the front fans though.

750D is a full tower, which doesn't really do anything for dust. Maybe slightly easier to clean since there will be a lot of room inside. Just make sure you have room for it.

With such budget you can buy a very decent case.Theres no such thing as "animal hair proof" case. The only thing you can do is choose a case with sealed front and filters in front.Personally i hate this trend with sealed fronts cause they restrict the airflow.I woud go for an open front case (like the Coolermaster h500p mesh or similar) and buy a soft makeup brush and clean the mesh a bit at the end of the day.I have cats so thats what i do at least...On the other hand if you choose a sealed front case keep in mind that the airways these cases have are quite small which means if your house is....Hairy,these small airways will get clogged much faster.Yes you will have less dust and hair inside the case but at the cost of temperature.Whatever you choose the most important thing is the filters the case will have.
