I am going to order a new rx 470. [Here is my 600 W PSU] It seems like it only has a 6 pin and I don't see any 8 pin connector cables. Is my PSU capable of power a GPU with an 8 pin connector? Do i have to buy one?
I hardly understand about PSUs and i really want to buy an MSI 470 which is why i am trying to find information.
Edit: Is the 8 pin connector going to come with the card by any chance?
Edit 2: It says that my PSU is 6 PIN and 8 PIN but i guess i didn't see it in there. I will take a look in my computer and if i see a 6+2 or an 8 pin i will report back.
Edit 3: So here is what i noticed. I have 2 plastic looking 4+4 pins.... Should they be able to power an 8 pin GPU? here is the picture I see that i can buy a pci-e 8 pin power connector and i can plug it in to work.... [So maybe this]
