Im fairly new when it comes down to upgrading Hardware of a computer. I currently own an ASUS tower. Link to my exact tower is here: http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/product/asus-asus-essentio-3rd-gen-intel-core-i7-3770-windows-8-desktop-computer-cm6870-ca001s-cm6870-ca001s/10223515.aspx?path=6513522f7abf8a03ac3fdb6b8e464c01en02

I want to add a better graphic card on it. I don't know which exactly, but I'm spending upto $250 on graphic card. From my knowledge, it appears my power supply only provides 300W and to be able to upgrade my graphic card I would need a better power supply. So if you guys can help my choose a power supply, please let me know the exact PSU I would need and that would fit well in my tower. I would appreciate any help.

Thank you.

Alrightey, how about this video card?

It's a good card and can be overclocked for pretty much free performance.

Edit: Here are the power supplies, pick one that strikes your fancy.

Solution
Seeing as your not overwhelmed by links here's what I'll suggest.

The 7870 for this price range is the best and should overclock quite well. I'd recommend staying away for the XFX series because it seems they have coil whine as a common problem (same with a few other brands such as powercolor). These are three of the better ones you have to decide how much you want to spend.

Personally if it was me I'd get the cheapest one because I'd overclock it past the factory overclock of the other two. This site also rated it's cooler to be the best on one model above it. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-hd-7950-review-benchmark,3207.html

As for a power supply I'll list you two options, the cheapest (but not bad) which won't be modular and a second option a bit more costly that is modular.
non modular- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139027
modular- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341050

Hope this makes your decision a bit easier. If you are in Canada you can look on newegg.ca and have most of the same parts although normally the shipping costs vary a bit.

First of all thank you very much. I appreciate that you took time to realize that I'm from Canada. My best option is NCIX.ca, bestbuy.ca and futureshop.ca . I live in Vancouver,BC (canada). I don't think I've heard of PC canada here anywhere.

Thank you so much. I appreciate your help and thank you for taking a time out to solve my problem. Sometimes its hard to find stuff like this in Canada. But I'll look what you have mentioned in one of the canadian stores I usually go to.

Well there is a NCIX store at this location:
1711 West Broadway
Vancouver, BC
