Need help with purchasing a graphics card for AM2NF6G-VSTA motherboard.

As i mentioned in the title, i need help with purchasing a video card at a low price. I need it for a friends system which is very old.
System info:
OS - Windows XP, Version 5.1.2600
Mother board - AM2NF6G-VSTA - ASRock
CPU - AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3500
RAM - 2GB Kingston 800Mhz DDR2 RAM
Video Card - X550 ATI Radeon 256MB DDR2 (The one failing :-( )

The graphics card in mind should be low budget, any suggestions are apreciated.

For a simple plug in, Radeon 6450 or something in that range, should be cheap and a bit faster than the X550.

Yes, it has a PCIe 16x slot for newer cards. One thing to watch out for it that some new cards are not compatible with PCIe rev 1 slots.

He forgot to mention that i have VGA monitor, LG Flatron L1919S 1280x1024
And i want to buy this PSU, Inter-Tech ATX 2.03 SL-500K 500W

How about this one?

That should work but it's probably double the price of the one I listed and will be hugely held back by the CPU. Check with the vendor if it will run in a PCIe rev 1 slot though.
