Need help with removing motherboard backplate.

My motherboard recently fried so i went into one of my older pc's and got one from there. Problem is the backplate for the cooler is seemingly attatched to it (https://m.imgur.com/RHhkp3G) i want to remove it so i can install my liquid cooler (510LC Asetek)

It does not look like that is going to come off. Are there no nuts or bolts on the top side of the motherboard?
