Question need help with RGB on pc

Hi i'm going to Build my 2nd PC and i need help with RGB compatibility

I am actually waiting on Ryzen 3 to update it, but the rest of the parts besides the CPU and MOBO are the same. Are there going to be any extra things i need for the RGB setup? (things like a fan hub, controller,or fan splitter)


Also is it worth getting a 4th gen PCIe m.2 and waiting for 3rd party support (Ik corsair has products at launch but i don't want to spend too much for a 'premium' m.2 ) or should i just get the cheapest m.2 i can get

Another question (sorry) is it worth getting a hybrid cooled 2080 Ti from EVGA and mess up the RGB Aura sync pattern, or stick with the ROG Strix

I am probably using this pc on two 2560 x 1440p monitors running at 144hz each

Your RGB options will depend on what Exact MB you do buy and what type and how many RGB headers are on that MB.
So until you decide on a MB there is no way to help you with your RGB question.

I am pretty sure that I'm staying with the Aura sync boards so it is going to be one of the ROG X57 boards

Once you choose an exact model look in the User's Manual at the internal connectors to see which type and how many RGB Headers the MB you choose actually has.
