NEED HELP with rig

Hi guys I am new to the hole custom rig thing. I am running a MSI motherboard with 2.4 GHz Intel pentium Q6600 is the serial. I am also running aa nvidia graphics card 560ti and 6gb ram I am looking to get a new processor and motherboard and recommended makes I am 16 and don't have much cash at the moment

Q6600 isn't a Pentium, its a Core 2 Quad
