6 months ago I bought a new PC with an ADATA 64gb SSD (for the system) and recently upgraded to Windows 10. When my SSD started filling up from useless crap like temp and Microsoft's files, I started reading articles about SSD and how to maximize its lifespan because this is my first time using one. I saw a lot of articles saying SSDs die off after 2-3 years of usage and some saying disable Superfetch and Prefetch to increase its lifespan, I am confused, should I really disable these? Have I damaged my SSD already? How long will it approximately last if I just leave it like this? I would appreciate some help as I want my SSD to last as long as possible because I don't have the money to buy a new one lol.

Disabling superfetch and prefetch are normal things to do for an SSD system, so go ahead and do so, the drive is so fast I doubt you'll see any difference.
Most likely the SSD will be running just fine long after you've decided to replace the rest of the system but don't defragment it, it's not needed and wears the drive unnecessarily.

Windows 10 disables both of them by default when it detects an ssd I believe. Most SSD's will last a hell of a lot longer than that unless you do A LOT of writing to the drive. This program can give you a rough estimate of how much life your ssd has left if your curious.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I've had a Intel SSD on this computer as OS drive from start of 2010 and it's still running without any problems with over 16TB of data written to it, and Intel SSD Toolbox still says the drive is at 99% lifetime remaining. It's a bigger drive though and your mileage might vary. You could always be unlucky, but it's the same with mechanical drives.

Does Intel SSD Toolbox work for other SSDs like mine (ADATA)? I wanna know the lifespan of my SSD.

Nevermind, looks like ADATA have their own SSD Toolbox with all the stuff.
