Hi all,

After measuring the coolant temperature of my setup, i was wondering if I could add a second GPU to my setup, given that 1080ti prices are down. Here are my specs and information below.

Specs:
Ryzen 7 2700x pbo 4.3ghz 1.46v
Gtx 1080ti 2050mhz +60mv
4x32gb 3200mt
Rm1000x psu

Radiator setup:
Currently have a 420x28mm rad and a 280x28mm rad with fans running at 900 rpm. I could add a 120mm rad to the back of the case if I need to. I don't think thickness would be a problem.

I measured just about 10 C over ambient in coolant temp (ambient 21, measured 32) after 30min of torture test (prime95 and furmark). The system draws around 450watts (150cpu+300gpu) so I would assume this is the worst case scenario.

I would like to keep the fans under 1500 rpm if possible as I don't want my pc to sound like a jet engine while I am playing games.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks for looking.

Also, do you have any ideas what cpu I should get? I am debating buying a used high end 3000 series Ryzen or a new 5000 if I can get one. I do use the computer for productivity and video editing for school, so more cores won't be a bad thing.
If you were only only gaming,id suggest the 5600X,it beats the 3900x in gaming. But you said u need it for some video editing,so 3900X might not be that bad of a idea.

Dont add a second gpu if u wanna game. Most games dont support it.It would be a waste of money. If u want to upgrade your system,go for a CPU upgrade.
