Can someone please help me with updating BIOS? I don't understand anything and I need it.
My motherboard is gigabyte h310m s2h

See page 20 in the manual. You hit F8 in the BIOS.

First thing to understand is why you think you need to update BIOS. The rule of thumb is don't update BIOS unless you know it's fixing something you know is bad.

So between the user manual and the info contained in the README on the BIOS zip file...what are you having trouble with?

Updating motherboard BIOS is always risky, that's why the questions about whether why you need to update. But doing it from within Windows is the riskiest way of all. It might work...but if it doesn't you can be left with a bricked system.

I'd suggest using the QFlash method given above is much safer. Also, only do it if you are confident you have steady power (no thunderstorms in your area for instance). Be patient, let it finish.

Before doing that you have to download the new BIOS version (you need version F12) from here on a USB key

You're going to buy a 9th gen CPU but you don't want to buy a $10 flash drive?

You probably have to install F4 first if your bios version is below that before installing the latest one.
