Need help with upgrading my Rig possibly!

Here lately (4-6 months) my pc has been bogging down. Example; just simply opening the internet takes possibly 4-10 seconds to finally pop up. Also starting up my PC takes a good 2-4 minutes to fully boot up with everything disabled almost for start-up programs.
I might not even need to upgrade but im not very tech savy when it comes to knowing if i should upgrade or just need to do something within the pc itself. I was debating on getting a new HDD and also grabbing a SSD for starters. Game wise my Pc runs great, just hate the slowness.

HDD: 1tb sata III 7200 rpm 3.5"
Motherboard: Z97 MSI gaming 5
PSU: cx bronze 750
GPU: Evga 970
RAM: Gskill 4gb DDR3 1866 ripjaws-X memory

Buy more RAM, preferably the same make and model to ensure it's compatible, thought still not guaranteed to work.

Yes, an SSD would instantly solve all your read problems. I recommend the ADATA 550, 240 GB.

Do you have any ram you'd suggest? I don't mind grabbing 4. Would 32gb of ram be to much though?
