Need help with upgrading to windows 10.

As of now i have a genuine copy of windows 7 ultimate (64-bit). I'm trying to use the free upgrade that microsoft gives here -->https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/accessibility/windows10upgrade but everytime i run it, it never downloads anything. It just sits still at 0 % until it gets a timeout and an error. I need any sort of help and or suggestions. Thank you

You probably do not need the assistive technologies thing.

Download the MediaCreation Tool.
Build your own USB or DVD install thing.
Boot from that
Go.

No, I didn't pay 300 i paid more like ~100. But it seems to work fine it has the little genuine thingy logo and i can use windows updates just fine.
