need help with wifi

i have a windows 7 pc with a wired connection to it and i wanted to have wireless connection for my mobile so here is the deal
can i get a pci wifi card and then share the wired connection to that wifi card so my pc will be like a hotspot but with wired connection???
and if yes then tell me how to do it
