I bought a Netgear WNA1000Mv2 USB WiFi adapter from a local store. It was working fine with Windows 8.1 but now I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and now my adapter has stopped working. I tried their new update which stated "IT WORKS WITH WINDOWS 10" ,it didn't work at all. Any help....?
Thanks in advance 🙂

Okay my question at this point is are you ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY that that's the model you have?

If that is indeed the model you have, the website says that it's compatible with Win 10, so I'm not entirely sure what the problem is. Maybe try downloading Piriform CCleaner https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner (free version will do just fine) and run a scan of your registry. Fix any problems it finds, but be sure to back up changes when it prompts you to. Then restart immediately after fixing the issues to make sure that the hives on your disk are updated with the changes you made. Then try following saywhut's instructions.

Let me know if that helps.

Another suggestion would be to search your appdata folders for any leftover components of...

I am ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE that this is the model number i have and i am also AWARE that the website says the drivers are compatible with Windows 10, did that a 100 times and still no use. I also tried the OTHER TWO SOLUTIONS you gave and still no use bro.

Also it works with my Windows 8.1 Laptop
