[SOLVED] Need Help

I recently decided to upgrade my CPU. I was using an i7-7740x and upgraded to an i9-10900x. However, I am unable to get the system to boot. I have tried resetting CMOS, updated bios to current version, re-seated ram, purchased new ram at a different hertz (from 3000 to 3600), tried booting with a single stick or ram, booting without GPU...and a few other things. I am using the MSI x299 M7 ACK for a motherboard. What am I missing? I would appreciate any help

What happens when you try to boot?
Can you boot memtest86 from a flash stick?

Nothing happens when I boot. Im not sure what memtest86 is.

Nothing happens does not explain much.
Do the fans spin?
Do you get a bios screen?

What happens if you put the old cpu back in the machine?

When I put the old cpu back in everything works perfectly

Neither cpu has an igp so you will need a gpu to get a display.
The 10900 uses an extra 50w of power.
Look very close at the pins on the new cpu make sure there is no damage.
Get the latest bios....non-beta.
