Am building a new computer and have limited funds at present . Will be going with the AM2 socket. Had hoped my current components would work on this type board, but find it loaded with new technology apparently making my current gear obsolete. I am looking for a motherboard that has built in video card as I can't afford a new video card along with the upgrade to DDR2 memory. Any ideas? Lee

What is your current setup? What is your max budget you wish to hit?

Answer these and you'll likely get some good response. :)

300 GB Seagate Barracuda 7200 ATA hard drive Will add another matching drive later in a RAID0 configuration.
Memory: 1GB;2 Elixir- 512MB DDR-400mhz-CL3 (M2U51264DS8HC3G-5T) Matched set., will add another GB later.

Want to stay around $400.00. Any more than that and might as well buy a readybuilt. Example:http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00820204&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=3339287&lang=en $700.00 after rebate

You would be better off going S939 if you want to keep using your current RAM. Otherwise you'll have to dump/sell your existing DDR RAM and buy DDR2 for either AM2 or S775.
