NEED HELP

I've had my Sony CRX140E-B for only about 3months now
and i haven't been burning much stuff
but recently when i do, i have problems
i keep getting this illegal request error
the only thing i do that doesn't give me that error
is when i copy something from cd-r
if i try to copy the original, i get the error
if i try to burn a music cd, i get the error

CAN ANYONE HELP ME?!!!!!

hey, it might be because the cd's are copy protected. Mostly the newer ones and especially any music cd that has programs on it, can't be copied. Try and copy an older cd game, like tie fighter, see if it can be copied, if you can, then that proves my theory. if you can't then it must be something else. I'm pretty sure though it just has copy protection on it. ok!? ok...
