I'm building a music production rig for a friend in the Lian Li TU150 and I have an extra i5-9600K. Its been a while since I shopped for mini-ITX, any suggestions for a MOBO? I'm looking for at least 16GB of RAM, preferably 32. I'm planning to put in one 1060ti or something for light gaming. I already have an SFX PSU and a pair of Samsung 680 SSDs. He is getting one without a glass side so looks don't matter much.

If you're looking to retain the ability to overclock etc, then your options for out of the box, guaranteed compatibility (ie Z390) are exactly 5:
https://pcpartpicker.com/products/motherboard/#f=8,16&c=135

They'll all support 2x16GB modules at most, and are all adequate for overclocking a 9600K.

The ASRock Z390M-ITX/ac is the cheapest of the bunch (in the US at least) and isn't really trading off anything substantial that it's 4 competitor boards are offering.
If looks don't matter, that would be the board I'd opt for.
