I am looking to add 4 2TB hard drives to my system.

1 drive each will be for
Music
Movies
Backup
Work

I simply would like to know what drives are the best to buy, I would prefer to not spend a ton of money, but then again I don't want a cheaply made unreliable drive.

Please advised some models and why you like them.

WD Black drives are great for high performance and durability. They cost more, but come with a 5 year warranty and are higher performing that other drives IMO. If you are using large files for work, or accessing a lot of files, the black drive is a great drive. It will also perform well for the movies.

WD Green drives are great for backup drives - and power down when not in use. They are a lot less in price.

Music - the WD blue drives will be good, unless you have a ton of music (200GB+), then the black drives will start giving you a performance boost.

I usually buy Black drives for everything except the OS (Samsung SSDs work best there) and backup drives (I use green drives).
