Need Motherboard & graphics card recommendations to replace damaged pc (Socket 1150)

Hi, I need help in what to replace my Asus Z97-PRO GAMER Socket 1150 and Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 OC WINDFORCE 3X 4GB GDDR5 as they got badly damaged in a house move (don't know how) I hope that my Intel Core i7 4790K 4GHz Socket 1150 has survived the carnage so I need to a motherboard to support this, any help would be great as things seem have changed a lot since my last build. Thanks for any advice.

As a graphic card it totally depends on what games you want to play, and on which settings.
In your case I would buy the GTX 1060.
