I'm mostly going to be playing competitive FPS.

I don't need something that has thousands of buttons and gadgets and transforms into a giant robot that turns into cars who protect the planet from other giant robots that turn into cars....

Also I want the Pad to be at least 12in long in width.

Thank you. :)

Definitely not, sorry, but that is a VERY low end mouse

This, the G105 is a pretty good gaming keyboard.

Are you sure?

Because I read that its a "No bullsh*t" kind of mouse....I heard some VERY good things about it.

Also, what about these mice?

Ok I think I decided on what keyboard and pad to get, links below.

But I'm still torn between these 3 mice, does the twisted gamer one use laser or optical?

I am recommending the E-3lue first, Twisted Gamer second, the Twisted Gamer is an optical. The difference is optical uses LED and you see a light when you pick it up, a laser uses, well a laser and you do not see anything when you lift the mouse. I prefer laser and am currently using a Logitech G500 which is an amazing mouse! But optical is good too and is less pricey so that is a plus for you. But yes the Twisted Gamer will be fine, it is optical, 2000 DPI, adjustable DPI, 6 Buttons, is comfortable and looks cool. Good luck

you dont need super high dpi. 800-1800 is perfectly fine.

razer deathadder mouse $35-50
microsoft sidewinder x4 $50
1/4" thick standard cloth foam rubber mousepad $5-10

it exceeds your budget by a fair margin but well worthwhile. of course there are other options....

as far as the microsoft mouse being bad.. i've used one in the past. they work fine although they arent as nice as normal gaming mice. they are "no nonsense" however they dont have any extra buttons either and the dpi is rather low. i played competitively for years on one so its definitely possible to use them but i really like my razer deathadder (perhaps the only decent product they make) instead of it. the dpi settings i use are not much higher but the extra 2 buttons and better comfort from the deathadder are much better.

---

if you absolutely must spend $70...

dont spend more than $5-10 on a normal mousepad. gaming pads are overrated highly.

also... optical mice are fine. laser doesnt offer much of a performance difference as most people will not use dpi settings past 2000. in some cases laser can actually be detrimentals since some track when lifted off the surface resulting in erratic mouse movement.

either optical or laser work. hell even wireless mice can work if you are fine with the cons (dealing with changing batteries and the sleep mode timeout)

I never noticed that before as I have never lifted my mouse up while moving it as I have all the heaviest weights in it, you learn something new every day

And I personally use 5700 DPI for everyday things like web browsing but may lower it in a game I need to carefully and slowly aim in

So to the OP, if you are on a very tight budget then go for the Twisted Gamer or E-3lue Mazer. I have owned the Twisted Gamer exact mouse and have owned another model of E-3lue and didn't have any problems with either of them. But the mouse ssddx offered up is a good one too, albeit a bit pricier but hey that's the price of buying more name brand. But buying a less known brand isn't always bad as I shop at Dollar Tree and get my food there as I have no problems with their quality and love that everything is a dollar. And just bought a cheap desktop mic, the CAD U-1 Black, it is really nice and was only 28 dollars. So go for whatever you like, ultimately you will be the one using it day in and day out. Good luck and if you have any questions feel free to ask away
