I need a new cooler for my computer, but I'm not certain on what size is suitable for my motherboard.
I've been eyeing a corsair hydro series H55, that has good reviews along with a reasonable price, but after reading up a bit I fear that it may be too small to mount as I don't think the fan mount is 120mm. My motherboard is an asus rog strix X299-E gaming, and this is the first time I've come across this issue, so I don't even know how much it actually matters but any help is very appreciated.

I currently have an Intel Core i9-7900X which I plan on continuing to use. The temperature with my current setup can go a bit too high for my comfort, but usually it's around a stable 40 - 50 C° when just browsing the internet, but for heavier stuff like editing, or even playing demanding games, it rises to, at the highest, around 95 C°

SORRY was in hospital for a week, so what case do you have, have to see what size your case can fit. I would recommend a three fan fan aic cooler. 95 degrees is a cpu killer!

check your case's supported cooler height.

for i9-7900X I'd want a big Air cooler or atleast 240mm aio with thick radiators
