Need new Cpu

Graphics Card: ASUS GeForce GTX 960 Turbo 4GB
CPU: Intel Core2 Duo E6600 @ 2.40GHz
550W Power Supply
Dell precision 390 motherboard and case
4gb of Basic RAM (I Don't know what) probably stock
I want to play games like overwatch and csgo but right now I'm getting around 25 fps. I want to upgrade my CPU to something new that would run overwatch at 60 fps. I saw some videos on CPUs like the AMD FX-6300 6-Core Processor Black Edition. But I don't know if that would fit in my motherboard, I also don't know if I need to get more RAM to run overwatch. What upgrades do I need to make to my computer to run overwatch at 60 fps, trying to stay on the budget side?

In order for you to upgrade on a cpu you will need to upgrade on the motherboard..You have to buy a motherboard on the new chipsets , skylake or kabylake , as well as a new cpu on those chipsets..For your needs it seems to me that an intel core i3 7100 will be more than enough and it will surely not bottleneck the gtx 960 ...
As you want a budget build I will try to find you the best deal ...Now you will also need to change your ddr2 ram to ddr4..4 gb ram are enough for csgo , and you can upgrade to 8 gb ram later
