I recently installed a new GTX 960 video card into my system, but when i tried to power on the system i heard a static click noise and nothing happened. I immediately turned the power supply switch off and unplugged the system and waited for about 10 minutes. when i tried to power on my system everything seemed fine, new card ran fallout 4 great but after i noticed that my ram was only 4gb and was on single channel (CPUZ).
I have 2X4gb g.skull rip-jaws for my ram so i should have 8gb not 4. I was able to determine the stick that was not running and have sent in a RMA to g.skull but i am not confident that they will replace it.
What i am asking is for suggestions on what would be some good memory for my system, I use a sandy bridge i3-2120 processor.
