Need opinions on my current rig.

Hello, so my current rig is about 5 years old, I have already planned out a new rig, but I don't currently have the money. My question is: What games can I run with this rig? (Planning on playing MW3 and such, I know I can't run BF3 anygood) I don't know all of my components but here's some of them: Intel core 2 quad CPU Q8200 2.33GHz, GTX 550ti( yeah *** card I know), 4GB RAM. That's basically all I know, because my computer is quite old. Any feedback would be much appreciated. PLEASE REPLY QUICKLY THOUGH. Thank you.

Your 550 is fine no need to worry (i have one and love it for 114$) your core 2 quad is awsome too if you can overclock it to 3.0GHz. the ram might need a second look but should be fine.


Recommendations:

I used to play MW3 on a Pentium D @ 3.40GHz and it ran fine. my friend sill uses a core 2 duo @ 3GHz and it runs MW3 on max and bf3 on high to medium. if you can overclock it would be optimal! 😛

The GTX 550 ti is great and if anything use it in you new system to save money. the Pentium system i had used a GTS 240 OEM GPU and i got decent to good frame rate my friend use 2 in SLI and get amazing performance so ya your good

the ram should be fine just don't render video and keep 5 programs running in the back ground eating at available memory that your game needs while playing 😀


over all if you are gonna play MW3 and alike maybe with some BF3 squeezed in at medium to high i give your PC 4.5/5. you loose .5 because its still LGA775 and 4 gigs ram. LOL
