Hello guys
I'm currently using the old config PC

CPU - Intel core 2 quad Q9550
Mobo - Gigabyte g41MT-s2pt (rev 2.1)
Ram - 8 GB ddr3
powersupply - Intex 450w ( old one and preddy cheap)
Seagate 1TB SATA hard disk

and I am planning to upgrade the whole built into a 4K gaming rig,
so I am buying things on monthly bases depending on my budget,
I bought i7 8700K in the last month.
But Right now I need a power supply and case for the old built and future also

I'm thinking Corsair VS550 550-Watt Power Supply and
Corsair Carbide Series CC-9011050-WW Mid-Tower (spec - 01).

Help me Guys
Thanks

Solution
The vs 550 is low quality you should look for a CX 550, CXm 550 or txm 550 if Corsair is your preferred brand.

The motherboard is a standard mATX board and any modern PSU and case should work.

You need to stop buying parts one at a time and save up till you can buy them all. What you can run into is getting a DOA part and the RMA period is over and they you will have to go through the manufacture to get warranty.
