Need psu for pc

Solution
i changed out your $100 120gb 840 evo for a $100 240gb 850 evo. though if this is purely for gaming i would definitely suggest a locked i5.

that last $50 xfx one is still a seasonic made no frills 550w unit. excellent power supply.

they are all made by seasonic actually. if you need fully modular then go with the $70 supernova gs.

otherwise the power effiency isn't that big of a deal and you wont notice more money in your wallet at the end of the year, maybe $5 and 2 or 3 trees saved. some higher end gold/platinum units will allow higher stable overclocks if you have an exotic motherboard to match via very nice voltage regulation, but we are talking 0.1-0.2ghz higher.
