Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a good B650 motherboard for the Ryzen 7 7700, mainly for gaming. I also want something futureproof in case I upgrade to a better CPU later.

These are the only available options:
  1. MSI PRO B650M-A WiFi Rs.16,198.00
  2. MSI B650 GAMING PLUS WiFi Rs.16,369.00
  3. MSI PRO B650-S WiFi ProSeries Rs.15,449.00
  4. GIGABYTE B650 Gaming X AX Rs.17,769.00
Which one would be the best choice?

Current setup:
i5-10400F
24GB DDR4 (16GB + 8GB)
RTX 3060 Ti
XPG Core Reactor 750W PSU

My CPU is bottlenecking the 3060 Ti at 21:9 1080p, and I plan to upgrade to a more powerful GPU in 2026.

Thanks

MSI PRO B650-S WiFi ProSeries Rs.15,449.00

If you place them side by side, they are the same board with a different skin(aesthetics).

I don't see the need to go with an mATX board in an ATX case. I say ATX case since I see ATX motherboard's n your list, putting an mATX board in an ATX chassis leaves a lot of empty space that usually is only going to look bad aesthetically and/or provide space to collect dust/debris. If you are getting an mATX case, I'd avoid that mATX board you've listed as it's lackluster in the design department(when compared to the other 3 in that list).

24GB DDR4 (16GB + 8GB)
Ditch the mismatched ram setup and invest in a DDR5-6000MHz dual channel ram kit to pair with your board to get the most out of your Ryzen platform.

I see you're located in India(due to you listing INR), IMHO, I'd ditch all of those options and see if you can pick up the Tomahawk board.

For the price of a single Tomahawk motherboard, I can get an MSI B650M GAMING PLUS WiFi and 16×2 DDR5 RAM. Based on availability and price, I have decided on the following setup
Ryzen 5 7600
MSI B650M Gaming Plus WiFi
XPG Lancer RGB 16GB DDR5 6000MHz CL30-40-40
