Hello tech experts!
I'm hoping to pick your brains on a good storage solution for my setup. As of today I have 2 SSD's (120gb Crucial & 250gb Samsung 850 Evo) & 2 HDD's (1tb WD Black & 1tb WD Blue).
The Samsung 850 Evo and WD 1tb Black arrived today and I am quite confused about how I can configure these into my setup. My plan was to uninstall windows 10 from the old Crucial SSD and re-install it to the Samsung SSD and then use the WD black for most of my games with the Crucial SSD for games I play quite often.
I plan to clean install Windows 10 as I have been encountering problems due to the migration from windows 8.1.
This is my first build and I've not played around with RAID before. I've read that RAID 0 will help boost performance but this can only be done with 2 HDD's. Is RAID a good option for me? Or perhaps I can set up an SSD as a cache drive for the WD Black and keep the blue as a backup drive?
What would you guys suggest?
This is the final step of my build and any help, opinions and suggestions are all very welcome!
You guys are awesome!
