First ever build but an updated version:

i7 6700k
Noctua NH-D15 82.5 CFM CPU Cooler
Asus Z170 PRO GAMING/AURA ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2x16) DDR4-3200 Memory
Samsung 850 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5” SSD
WD Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5” 7200RPM HDD
Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 8GB AMP! Extreme Video Card
be quiet! DARK BASE PRO 900 ORANGE ATX Full Tower Case (2 140mm front intake, 1 140mm rear exhaust)
EVGA 750W 80+Gold Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
Asus DRW optical drive
2 Noctua NF-A14 PWM 82.5 CFM 140mm Case Fans (1 bottom intake, 1 top exhaust)

This is my first ever pc build. I made a thread earlier with a build which was slightly different so I decided to make another updated one. Please give me suggestions for what I should change, upgrade or what is redundat. Do I have too many fans?

Also, should I wait for Kaby Lake processors and Z270 motherboard or it's not worth it? I found a 7700k on a website available already but couldn't find the motherboard. What do you guys think would be a better decision?

Thank you in advance!

First off 32GB of RAM is a bit overskill, as 16GB is enough for gaming, actually more than enough. Also to power all of that, you don't need 750w, 550w should be good. Heck, even 500 is goo to power everything.

As far as the SSD, 950 is faster, but honestly, you probably will not even notice a difference. I have a 750 EVO and it is still blazing fast. Windows boots in 7 seconds from the BIOS splash screen (from powered down). I honestly will just use those two Noctua fans for your front intakes and use the fans that come with the case in other places (rear and top/bottom).

Lastly, you will only notice a 5-10% increase if you went to Kaby Lake so Skylake is a good buy going forward. If you are just gaming (no streaming or rendering) you could even step down to a i5-6600K and use the savings for a shiny 4K monitor, just my recommendation.

Aside from the extra PCIe lanes, and on some boards more M.2 slots with Z270, Skylake and Kabylake have identical performance at the same clock according to some reviews. So a mild overclock to a Skylake is all it takes to get equal performance. Though some of the reviewers were managing upp to 5GHz.

The reason why I went with a 750w power supply is because I used the EVGA Power Meter to see what power supply I would need. The results ranged from 650w to 750w so I decided to go with the 750w since I am planning to do some quite heavy overclocking and I thought maybe a slightly stronger power supply will be a better choice. As well as that, I'm not willing to invest in a 4k monitor simply because I don't want to. I think for now I'll refrain from 4k because, in my opinion, it's redundant. About the Noctua fans, I agree with you on that. I don't know why I didn't do that in the first place. Thank you for telling me!

Well then I guess I will go for a 6700k. Thank you!

That's actually a great idea. I'll do that I think. Thank you!

EDIT: I was thinking: maybe it's better if I just get 1GB ssd and that's it? It seems like that would be cheaper.
EDIT 2: Never mind. I decided to go ahead with 850evo 500gb 2.5" and 960evo 250gb M.2-2280.
