Question Need some help. Cant get DDR4 memory to run in XMP1 mode - GSkill Ripjaws V DDR4-3200

i am using the following hardware on windows 10 21H1 version

Mobo: MSI z590 pro-wifi -BIOS version E7D09IMS.150 (Latest)
Memory: 32GB G-skill Ripjaws V - 2 sticks of 16gb DDR4-3200 F4-3200C16-16GVK
GPU: Asus Geforce 3070 8GB
HDD: 2 tb WD-Black SN850 Gen 4 NvME
Power: Thermaltake Tufpower 750w

For the last few months I was having all sorts of memory management BSOD's, throw in a few WHEA unrecoverable errors, on my pc with xmp enabled.
I ran multiple tests with Memtest86 both as a pair and each stick individually and came back with zero errors.

It caused so much corruption on my system that I decided to start fresh with a barebones install and just a few games. I also changed out the M2 drive (original went bad.)

I was running fine for 2 weeks and decided to try the XMP profile 1 and was ok for 2 days but just had another Memory management BSOD

So I am looking for some help. Any advice would be appreciated. I would really like to get the advertised speed on the memory I bought.

Did you memtest each module individually or together? XMP should be enabled for individual testing as well.

Yes. I have the memory in A2 and B2 slots away from the CPU.

It's a memory kit 2x16

Yes I tested the kit together in XMP and then tested each stick individually and i had zero errors. I ran each test for 16 passes.

I can re-run the tests again and post the results if that would be helpful.

I did notice on the sticker on the modules that it said XMP 2 .0 ready but my board is only allowing XMP1.

There is a newer bios....160.
Got the latest chipset driver?

I didnt see your message until I was already at work. I will try your suggestion when I get home.

Before I left, I started a full kit Memtest run with XMP enabled. It was set for 16 passes, not sure how many I will get before I get home but as long as I get 4 good I will then do a test on a single stick and try your suggestion to Run Win 10 with just 1 stick with XMP enabled.

Update - I enabled the XMP Profile to run and set up a Memtest to run all 13 tests for 16 passes with all cpu's active in parallel, 64bit address mode.

I am going to run each stick individually thru the same 6 passes and post if I get some errors.

Then I will try what Bob suggested and to use 1 stick in A2 slot with XMP enabled and see if it crashes. Then I will do the same for the other stick.

Memtest results:
Full kit (2x16GB) Slots A2/B2 XMP Enabled- 6 full passes with zero cumulative errors in each - took 8 hours. CPU temps stayed low during the test 48c. Memory temps were unavailable.
DIMM 1 Slot A2 XMP Enabled - 6 full passes - zero cumulative errors. All cpu's active in parallel, 64bit address mode.
DIMM 2 - Slot A2 XMP Enabled -Pending

update. all memory tests with XMP enabled passesd memtest. Each test was 6 full passes with all 13 tests.

i was able to use 1 stick of Ram with xmp enabled in windows and not crash for a few hours. i need to test my 2nd dimm this way..

Still not sure what the issue is.
