Need some help choosing my new monitor.

So i'm going to be upgrading my graphics card to a ASUS ROG GeForce GTX 1070 Strix Gaming 8GB OC and i've decided to get a new monitor to compliment it.

I was originally going to go with:

However after doing some research i hear that 27inch monitors that are 1080p aren't that great and everyone says to go with a 1440p monitor that is 27inch. I don't really care about the 27inch aspect but more for the G-Sync and 144hz that the monitor showcases. I cannot find any monitors that showcase 144hz, G-Sync that are 24inch.

My only option would be either the:

Which both showcase a $300+ price tag on top of what i was originally considering buying!

So basically my question is are there any monitors that are 24 inch and offer G-Sync and 144hz? If not should i purchase the 27inch 144hz G-Sync monitor that is 1080 or go for something that is 1440p?

For the 1070, might as well go 1440p, especially if it's 27" (24" 1080p is already rough on the eyes, 27" 1080p looks downright ugly)

I think i'm going to go with the AOC G2460PG looked at some reviews etc and it seems to be what i'm looking for. Saw it on the site i usually use and it was sold out so i didn't bother looking much into it.
