Need some Help/ motherboard issues

Guys,

I just built a pc specs=
780i xfx
qx6850
velociraptor 300gb
9800 gtx+
2 bg crucial 1066 pc8500 ddr2

This board has given me nothing but problems. varios 4e errors and now it wont even post. just boots to FF. I've done countless hours of trouble shooting(adding gpu/other parts one at a time) well with that said i'm getting a ANOTHER board. i'm gonna rma this POS and get a intell chipset. My question is this. Do i have reload EVERYTHING? The pc has been running for a month with some errors but completly workable. i installed and confugured all my software. I'm running 64x window unltimate.

Whats the process of getting the board configured and getting out the nvidea chipset drivers? i just want to swap boards and not have to reload os ect. any you guys want to shed some light? also what board is the most stable with sli?

Vista will require a format; I tried the repair option once and it didn't work for a similar situation. Windows 2k or xp might go, after countless reboots and driver reloads. You'll just have to try it. If you get your old board to post again, you can try backing up your files with a program such as norton ghost.
