I am going to build a new PC and I have come up with the following: Is there anything you would change? I have the OS, SSD, hardrive, mouse, keyboard and monitors.

CPU = AMD ryzan 2700x
RAM = 2x8GB Corsair DDR4 Vengance 3000mhz
CPU COOLER = Corsair h100i v2
MOTHERBOARD = Gigabyte B450 AORUS Pro
CASE = Corsair Crystal series 680x
PSU = 750w EVGA GOLD
GPU = EVGA RTX 2080 XC ULTRA

If your going to manually overclock then get the 2700 or 1700 as that will save you quite a bit of money. If your not going to overclock then dump the AIO and stick with the 2700X.

Swap the memory to 3200mhz, speed makes a big difference with AMD Ryzen.

Is that the G3 version of that EVGA?

Everything else looks good.

As said above, if your going to overclock your cpu, get the Ryzen 7 2700. With an overclock it performs identically to an overclocked 2700x, however the 2700 is much cheaper.

An Ryzen 7 1700 is older and will a lot worse at stock. With an overclock, the AMD Ryzen 7 1700 is close but not identical to an overclocked 2700x, which to me is well worth the money saved.

Ram speed does matter a lot for ryzen. If you can stretch to 3200, i would. Otherwise, 3000mhz wont be too much of a slowdown and can likely overclock to 3200.
