Hello, I have a problem. I would like to build a beast gaming pc but I need some help.
My current pc is an Dell OptiPlex 390 with an Intel Core i5 2400 at 3.10ghz. it also has a motherboard. Should I keep the motherboard and cpu and buy a new case, graphics card and ram or a complete new build with i3 4170. Is the i5 2400 still good these days? Is it good still for future proofing? Finally I am planning to buy the EVGA GTX 970 FTW+ Graphics card. Would it bottleneck?

Any help appreciated, thanx

I would personally buy a i5 4690k and the 970 for crysis. That'll run it great. On the case, I couldn't see what type of motherboard it had. If it's a mini itx than yes you would need a new case but if not you could keep it. Your case is really a personal decision.
