[SOLVED] Need some help with new pc

Hi, I have recently built my pc. Yesterday I installed windows 10 on it and I will add that prior the installation I didn't do any bios update because I saw people say that you don't have to. Now, my question is, how do I install the right drivers onto my pc and are there drivers for every component? If someone could help me out that would be great.

go to the motherboard manufacturer website to download driver

what the system spec? what people said you don't have to update bios?

go to your motherboards website
you can find the drivers there
next install your graphics drivers from nvidia's website if you have an nvidia gpu or amd's website for amd gpu

Motherboard: B550m pro-vdh wifi
Ram: Crucial ballistix 3200mhz ddr4
Storage: wd blue sn500 500gb
Gpu: Nvidia geforce gtx 1650 gddr6
Power supply: Corsair cx550m bronze
Case: I don't know if you guys need to know this but its the Corsair 275r airflow

dont install motherboard vga drivers as you won't be needing them.

Thank you for your help. I have one more question, do I have to do this bios update? I'm just a bit worried that something might not work properly or something I don't know. I didn't do it because I did a bit of research and some people said it's important and some said it's not. I just moved on to installing windows because I wasn't really sure how these bios updates work.

bios updates are generally for processor compatibility
any error while updating the bios might brick your motherboard.
and since you're installing windows your processor is working fine with your motheboard so you don't need to update your bios
i doubt you'll face a problem with your rig cuz everything looks fine

As a general rule, first you just open up the W10 Device Manager, that's what that app is for, and see if there are any unsupported devices. Get drivers for those first. Then update critical drivers like Nvidia.

they'll work automatically some of them require a restart. So, yea a restart will do 😀

Hey, thanks for the reply. That's what I thought hahahaha. I got a bit worried because the GPU drivers required a restart whereas the mobo ones didn't. I appreciate you replying to me and assuring me that I did everything right. You're awesome
